Arrests At CSUF & Fullerton College Campuses
If an individual is arrested on campus for an alleged crime or the surrounding area, they will be transported to the Orange County Jail for the booking process. The University Police does not transport the arrestee to the Fullerton City Jail as many would like believe. Again, the University Police is its own policing agency, they are not part of the Fullerton Police Department. Once the arrestee is booked at the Orange County Jail, they may post bail or bail bond. However, the processing time may be up to four hours and release time can take four to eight hour once booked in.
You may visit the Orange County Sheriff’s website to obtain limited amount of bail information regarding the arrestee or call our bail bond office for detailed information. Arrangements to post bail can also be made while you wait for the arrestee to be completely processed at the OC Jail. This expedite the posting of the bail or bail bond once the arrestee has been processed.
